Description of King’s Quest
Classic is a name used all to often when it comes to older games, but the term is certainly rings true with Kings Quest. This EGA masterpiece is the grandfather of graphic adventure gaming that not only spawned 7 sequels, a remake and later a series reboot but was the beginning of the golden age of the genre and defined it developer, Sierra Online. For those that are returning to the game for the nostalgia, be ready to relive some great memories as you take Sir Grahame on an adventure through the Kingdom of Daventry in this 2.5D quest. In today’s age of point and click there is something satisfying with typing in all your actions, with finding the clue you need without the game giving you a hint and it lighting up for you. For those that are new to the game, this is a must play, a living piece of gaming history Just remember this was originally released in 1984 with this, the DOS version, released in 1987.
