Description of 007: Licence to Kill

The story of 007 : Licence to Kill is based on the film released in 1989 in which James Bond, played by Timothy Dalton, is running after Franz Sanchez who murdered Felix Leiter’s bride. The goal for the player is to destroy 4 eighteen wheelers carrying tons of drugs. The game is separated in five parts featuring different game style from flying helicopters, walking, in mid-air, underwater, on water skis and in the last level, guiding a plane to allow the character to land on a driving truck. Then you can drive the truck! All these levels reproduce sequences from the Bond movie. The first level of the game allows you to control a helicopter. You avoid several bullet shot by hidden enemies until you arrive in the drop zone, where Bond will jump and go on to the next level. In the second level, the player is in the enemy base. Bond has a handgun to shot down enemy agents lurking between the buildings. The third level places you in the command of a helicopter again, but this time you have a hook that must be attached to a plane. Once this task is done, Bond jump out with a parachute and fall into the sea. For the fourth level, you have to swim in the water with a knife as your sole weapon. You have to avoid deadly boats and kill enemies until you reach the landed plane. Then Bond use the plane for the fifth and last level. You have to stop the four trucks transporting drugs by coming close to one of them by plane and then jump onto it. Then you gain control of the truck. Overall, Licence to Kill is a quite fun game and is appreciated by Jams Bond fans. Although it is not amongst the best game of the magic DOS era, this game is still respectable and many people know about it. See for yourself!
